The Compact Model Coalition (CMC) brings academia and industry partners together in the development and standardization of compact models for semiconductor devices. For 30 years now, the CMC has been instrumental in creating standardized and verified models for designers to use in their increasingly complex circuits for SPICE simulation.

The CMC is organizing a new and innovative International Compact Modeling Conference. Cosponsored by IEEE EDS, it will focus uniquely on compact device models, their development and broad application in the semiconductor industry. You are invited to participate in the evolution of these models, guide model development to help circuit designers create the best circuit performance possible, and enable foundries to leverage the strength of their device fabrication to full extent. Join the world experts in design, process technology, and model development to discuss state of the art semiconductor device modeling for a two-day in-person event in one location, offering a great opportunity to present and learn about this core element of circuit design and how to get the most from these global collaborations.

Guidelines

Paper review will be based on a 2-page abstract file, that must be included in the submission of the contribution. Invalid or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

Your abstract should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • The abstract should reflect all key elements of your work and it is recommended to include figures.
  • The maximum total length of your abstract is 2 pages.
  • PDF-file only (max 50 MB)
  • Abstracts must be submitted via the ICMC 2025 abstract submission portal
  • Should your work be accepted, a full paper (max. 4 pages) will be required.
    • For the full paper, the IEEE conference template must be used
    • References of ½ page or less in length may be included within the standard 4-page limit allocated for technical content. References exceeding ½ page in length (e.g., a full page) should be an additional page, extending the document beyond the standard 4 technical pages.

Uploading Your Abstract

Generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible manuscript using PDF Xpress

All final camera-ready manuscripts must be generated using the PDF Xpress tool.

To generate the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF file of your paper, follow these steps:

  1. Create your IEEE PDF eXpress account: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login
  2. Conference ID: 64879X
  3. The first time you access the system, please follow the link to the new user. Please note that to access the service, you need to allow the use of cookies from the PDF eXpress website. Once you have registered as a new user:
    1. Upload the source file (containing your paper) for conversion.
      1. Receive by e-mail the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper.
  4. After using PDF Express, remember to also submit your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF to Oxford Abstracts. Failure to upload directly to Oxford Abstracts will disqualify you from publication.
  5. Please remember that the IEEE Copyright form and PDF Xpress are different requirements. To be eligible for publication, all accepted papers must have the IEEE Copyright form completed within Oxford Abstracts by May 23rd. Completing PDF Xpress alone is not sufficient for publication.
